As an Administrator at Sodexo in Wythenshawe Hospital, no two days will be the same. In this dynamic and essential role, you will serve as a key point of contact, supporting the smooth running of our administrative operations. Your keen eye for detail, strong computer literacy (especially MS Office packages), excellent team ethos, and outstanding communication skills will help you thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment. A can-do attitude and complete customer focus are essential, as is the ability to prioritise under pressure.

What you’ll do:
Office and Document Management
- Organise, store, and retrieve physical and digital files
- Draft, proofread, and format documents, letters, and reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
Communication and Coordination
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person queries professionally
- Log all service requests and updates accurately
- Act as a point of contact between departments and external stakeholders
- Schedule meetings and manage shared calendars
Data Entry and Reporting
- Input and update data in systems or spreadsheets
- Produce and distribute reports from internal databases
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain confidentiality at all times
Support to Management and Teams
- Assist with administrative tasks such as travel bookings and meeting prep
- Support HR functions, including onboarding and maintaining personnel files
- Coordinate team resources, supplies, and logistics
Maintaining Office Systems
- Manage office supply inventory and order as needed
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day administrative processes
Compliance and Confidentiality
- Handle sensitive information with discretion
- Follow all data protection and organisational compliance policies
What you bring:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, solution-focused approach under pressure
- A can-do attitude and a passion for great service
- Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential
