Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Cambridge. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations across site, ensuring consistently high standards are delivered at all times while leading by example. As the direct line manager for all on-site cleaning colleagues, you will be responsible for maintaining service excellence, upholding health and safety standards, and ensuring all activities align with Sodexo policies and values, promoting a professional and positive company image throughout.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver and maintain high standards of cleaning across site on a daily basis
  • Complete weekly building audits and ensure work orders are actioned within SLA
  • Provide hands-on cleaning support where required to maintain service excellence
  • Ensure all team training is completed and up to date
  • Maintain full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and company policies, ensuring appropriate team cover at all times

What you bring:

  • Proven cleaning experience delivering exceptionally high standards and working to schedules
  • Experience supervising and supporting a team within a similar environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to monitor performance levels
  • Good administrative skills and a collaborative, “one team” mindset with a willingness to support others when needed
