About the Role
Sodexo is recruiting a Food Service Assistant (FSA) to support catering operations at the Capgemini Phoenix House site in Telford. This role plays a key part in delivering a safe, efficient, and high-quality food service to employees and visitors.
A Food Service Assistant supports the day-to-day running of the catering operation, working closely with chefs and supervisors to prepare, serve, and present food, maintain hygiene standards, and provide a professional customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve food and beverages in line with service standards and customer requirements.
Assist with food preparation, service set-up, and replenishment during service periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in service and dining areas.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, allergen awareness, and storage procedures.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide a professional and courteous service to customers, clients, and colleagues.

Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is required
Good understanding of food hygiene, safety, and allergen awareness.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
