Days/Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5pm
Total Hours Per Week: 40 Hours
Salary: £30,000 to £31,000 (pro-rata for contract length)
We’re recruiting a Finance Administrator to support our Universities contract based across Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway. Working closely with the Finance Manager and operational stakeholders, you’ll provide accurate and reliable financial support that underpins day-to-day service delivery and trading performance. This is a varied role where strong organisation, attention to detail and confident communication are key—ideal for someone who enjoys balancing routine finance processes with the needs of a busy site operation.
E-ProphIT administration for site trading, ensuring weekly returns are submitted on time
Invoice management: raising invoices, checking against delivery notes, processing, and requesting/raising credit notes for under-deliveries
Weekly cash reconciliation including cash counting, safe audits and banking (ensuring holdings are within policy and floats are ready)
Payroll support using Kronos
PO and maintenance finance support including raising SAP POs, processing PPM/reactive works invoices, contract validation/renewals and maintaining trackers
Supporting daily/weekly/monthly/year-end finance activities, including reporting actuals vs forecast to the Finance Manager and senior stakeholders
Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries
Helping deliver a smooth Sodexo / client month-end process, ensuring the right information sources and systems are used
Supporting wider admin and finance tasks, responding quickly and accurately to requests from the Finance Manager and Head of Finance

Experience in a similar finance/admin role within a service-led environment
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a commitment to standards and compliance
Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload in a structured but flexible way
Proactive, able to work on your own initiative and deliver to deadlines under pressure
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder collaboration skills
Analytical problem-solving mindset—able to spot issues, reduce risk and escalate appropriately
