Are you passionate about delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and patient care? We are looking for a Deputy Domestic Manager to join our team at Queen’s Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

As Deputy Domestic Manager, you will:

  • Support the Domestic Manager in leading a team of around 200 staff.
  • Ensure compliance with National Specifications for Cleanliness and Trust policies.
  • Deliver training and guidance to domestic assistants and supervisors.
  • Drive high standards of hygiene and customer service across all areas.
  • Monitor performance, implement improvements, and champion best practices.
  • Contribute to achieving KPIs, budget targets, and patient satisfaction goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recognized cleaning qualification (BICS, NVQ or equivalent).
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience managing large teams in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to deliver practical training and manage change effectively.
