• Location: Hedley Avenue, Grays Essex RM20 4AL
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday-Friday 08:00:16:00
• £12.21 Per hour + Sodexo rewards and benefits

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-focused Cleaner to join our team at a large and busy site in Grays, Essex RM20 4AL. This role plays an important part in ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe, and well maintained for staff, clients, and visitors. If you take pride in your work and can maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for carrying out daily cleaning duties across a large site, working to agreed standards and following full training and site procedures. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to the required standards across designated areas of the large site.
• Maintain consistent cleanliness in line with client expectations and work specifications.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules accurately, signing and submitting when required.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and work safely at all times.
• Conduct pre-use checks on cleaning equipment and use it correctly.
• Keep cleaning cupboards, equipment, and supplies organised and well maintained.
• Report any defects, maintenance issues, or Health & Safety concerns immediately.
• Rectify minor issues where appropriate and within capability.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure service continuity across the site.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support other areas when required.
• Attend training and team meetings as scheduled.
• Follow all site rules, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Take ownership of assigned areas and maintain high standards consistently.
• Carry out any reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
