We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Cleaning Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across allocated areas, ensuring all cleaning duties are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company and client requirements.

What you'll do

• Clean all allocated areas to the required standard, including floors, furniture, fittings, glassware, toilets, offices, conference rooms, and public areas

• Carry out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks at times that minimise disruption to the client’s business

• Use cleaning equipment, materials, and agents correctly and safely

• Ensure all cleaning equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order

• Maintain high standards of operational and personal hygiene at all times

• Report maintenance defects, equipment issues, shortages, or breakages to the Cleaning Supervisor

• Follow all client, company, fire, health & safety, and COSHH regulations

• Wear the correct PPE as required

• Respond to complaints promptly and escalate to the Supervisor when necessary

• Attend training courses as required to remain up to date with legislation and company policies

• Carry out additional or emergency cleaning tasks as directed by your Line Manager

What you'll bring

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

• Good working knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene regulations

• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
