Job Introduction
Join Sodexo as a Casual Security Guard and be part of a professional and friendly team helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this role, you’ll support site security operations, assist visitors and staff, and deliver a high standard of customer service while ensuring client and Sodexo safety standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ad-hoc support to security operations across the site
- Patrol and monitor premises to ensure the safety of people, buildings, and assets, including use of CCTV
- Control site access, including visitor management, safety briefings, and key/access card control
- Support health & safety, fire control, evacuation procedures, and vehicle movements (including weighbridge records)
- Carry out security checks, including occasional person and vehicle searches
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills with good awareness of surroundings
- Previous experience in a similar security role
- Holds a valid SIA Manned Guarding licence (CCTV licence desirable)
- Good understanding of security techniques and procedures
- Secure/Sodexo trained (full driving licence and local site knowledge desirable)
