Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Food Services Assistant / Barista to join our brand-new flagship site in Kingston.
We are seeking a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service within a premium hospitality environment. This role offers the chance to be part of a high-profile launch, contributing to a 5-star food and coffee experience from day one.
You will support the day-to-day operation of the Catering Department, maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for customers using the Restaurant, Coffee Bar Café, and Hospitality services, while upholding all Food Safety and Health & Safety standards and delivering an iconic coffee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and company procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Deliver an iconic coffee experience, preparing high-quality barista beverages to premium standards.
- Accurately process all transactions using the till system (cash and cashless).
- Ensure stock levels are maintained, rotated, and professionally displayed.
- Keep all service areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Support hospitality functions and special events as required.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform in line with policy.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar hospitality, catering, or corporate environment.
- Good understanding and experience of a barista-style service, delivering exceptional service and coffee standards.
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety practices.
- Passionate about customer service with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work flexibly across all shift patterns.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, premium service environment.
