Great opportunity has become available in our company for a Soft Services manager to join our team in North London. The successful candidate will be managing services such as Security, cleaning and waste. Our ideal candidate will be experienced team manager with high customer service standards and a holder of an SIA Frontline Guarding Licence.

Role Responsibility

    Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the security, cleaning and waste service delivered to the client
    Recruit, train and manage the team as directed by line manager 
    Manage the team’s rotas and time sheets in accordance to training and relevant policies, ensuring all shifts are covered and in the event of no member of staff available the Soft Service Manager should be on site during absence hours in case of emergency. Input all time worked and absence accurately on UDC and printing records as per training.
    Manage team absence in accordance to absence policy, compete return to works and report any issues to line manager.
    Complete a schedule of security, cleaning and waste tasks in accordance to SLA and line manager instructions
    Comply and ensure team comply to CoSHH & H&S requirements and all client policies/procedures in relation to housekeeping/infection control/security   
    Ensure the method of conducting all cleaning/waste tasks is as directed via the Great / cleaning offer task cards / pictorial task cards and all requirements of the cleaning/waste offer are carried out
    Ensure that the CCEP recycling and waste plans are adhered to and we actively participate in improving recycling  
    Manage cleaning stock to promote efficient and effective use of products and materials and order stock as required to ensure good levels of stock available to the team
    To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment in line with site policy and to line manager   
    Manage teams’ behaviours and complete any investigations required and follow the disciplinary and capability process when required
    Make suggestions, put forward ideas and innovations to improve the team, cleaning, security and site
    To ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, adhering to uniform standards at all times for all members of the team
    To deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies, including fire and bomb scares ensuring all customers, clients and Sodexo teams are kept fully informed at all times.
    To address any and all security concerns on site in line with client and company expectations and in accordance with training and written assignment instructions.
    To liaise closely with statutory authorities dealing with incidents and to provision of information.
    Diligent monitoring and completion of site records/reference material including H&S documents, Assignment Instructions, Incident Forms and Site Occurrence Book.
    To provide regular liaison and timely feedback to site management team on all aspects of security operations and service delivery, implementing effective solutions and corrective actions to enhance the service.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential
    SIA Frontline Guarding License
    PC Literate with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products.
    Previous customer facing experience
    Office management
    Experience of time management.
    Experience of managing a team
    Good all round cleaning experience with industry knowledge
    Experience of working in multi-tasking environment
    Able to communicate on all levels, excellent customer care skills
    Presentable and personable
    Knowledge of H&S

Desirable
    Previous experience of working in a similar service environment via a multi-skilled workforce to blue chip organisations or within prestige environments with a strong focus on customer service. 
    Relevant training, qualifications and experience to deliver services in line with legislative and statutory requirements (where relevant) and industry best practice.
