QHSE Manager

Role Responsibility
- Lead quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) for the Sodexo operation and external clients
- Manage, support and develop a team of 5 QSHE professionals
- Implement, monitor and review health and safety policy and action plans to ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
- Undertake environmental health and safety planning, including the setting of goals, agreeing priorities and establishing adequate systems for performance management
- Instrumental in leading the QSHE team to establish and maintain safe systems of work and developing a culture and safe environment for colleagues and customers
The Ideal Candidate
- National H&S qualification (NVQ Level 6 or equivalent)
- Chartered Membership of IOSH or IMEA
- Proven experience of delivering QSHE across a multi-site complex business
- Detailed knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Good organisational /communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Self motivated and able to motivate others
