Job Introduction

Role Responsibility

Lead quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) for the Sodexo operation and external clients
Manage, support and develop a team of 5 QSHE professionals
Implement, monitor and review health and safety policy and action plans to ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
Undertake environmental health and safety planning, including the setting of goals, agreeing priorities and establishing adequate systems for performance management
Instrumental in leading the QSHE team to establish and maintain safe systems of work and developing a culture and safe environment for colleagues and customers

The Ideal Candidate

National H&S qualification (NVQ Level 6 or equivalent)
Chartered Membership of IOSH or IMEA
Proven experience of delivering QSHE across a multi-site complex business
Detailed knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
Good organisational /communication skills.
Ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
Self motivated and able to motivate others

Package Description
