    Role Responsibility

    As a Post Office Operative you will be responsible for:

     

    • Delivering and maintaining a high standard of service in every aspect of the Post Office
    • Selling a range of products and services
    • Seeking new sales opportunities by advising and communicating to customers
    • All transactions and balancing the stock and cash weekly, according to Post Office requirements and training manuals
    • Operating to high customer volumes in a professional manner
    • Ensuring promotional material is displayed as advised by the Post Office
    • Weekly and monthly trading to be completed in line with the Post Office trading calendar to meet all Sodexo policies and procedures, including Health and Safety

    The Ideal Candidate

    The successful candidate for this role will have:

     

    • Previous experience in a customer facing, or retail outlet
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to make an excellent first impression, be proactive, able to multi task, numerate and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced service driven environment
