Lounge Manager (Emirates)

Job Introduction

Are you passionate and experienced in delivering 5* service in a food and beverage environment? Do you have proven people management skills and a keen eye for detail?

We currently have an opportunity for a Lounge Manager to join the team, leading our Emirates lounge in Gatwick Airport. You will be responsible for maintaining a first-class service operation amongst a team of front and back of house across catering, cleaning and front of house. You will have excellent customer and client service skills and be able to follow high level standards in line with airline requirements.

Role Responsibility

  • To plan, manager, deliver and present the food and beverages as per food specification.
  • Manage, guide and coach the assigned staff to ensure an efficient operation of the lounge.
  • Interact with customers by explaining the food and beverages on offer. 
  • Manage a team of service, cleaning and kitchen staff as well as the other resources (i.e. employee working hours, staff training, stores management) 
  • Manage site compliance across Health and Safety and Food Safety operations.
  • Continually bring added value to the contract through innovation and pro – activeness.
  • Complete monthly reports for the client in coordination with the Account Manager.
  • Provide solutions to operational airport challenges.
  • Financially manage the contract. Work towards achieving financial and non-financial targets.
  • Manage staff performance through regular one to one meetings and appraisals

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in delivering 5* service
  • Experience in providing high end quality customer service and product. 
  • Experience in managing a team. Has managed a team previous to this role / performance reviews.
  • Competent IT skills
  • Flexible approach – 5 out of 7 day working pattern.

Desirable

  • Food and Beverage experience is desirable but not essential

Package Description

£25,900 - £28,700 per annum
