Key Account Manager - Conference & Events

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your sales career within Sodexo.  Sodexo Prestige is seeking a Key Account Manager to support venues across the North of England, to achieve targets by driving sales through conference and events agents.

Role Responsibility

  • Work on warm and cold accounts to develop top line sales growth
  • Develop existing accounts to provide increased revenue
  • Achieve operational KPIS in line with expectations
  • Implementing a  pro-active Sales and Marketing Strategy
  • Entertain and network with Clients
  • Attend quarterly reviews with key clients ( both 3rd party agents and Corporate clients) and develop those relationships
  • Work closely with unit sales teams to enhance sales strategies 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience within conference and events sales from both an account management and business development stance
  • Proven track record of overachievement  of sales targets
  • ideally with experience of working with conference and events agents
  • Used to working with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and grow the portfolio of Conference Agents
  • Proven client relationship skills and ability to network at director level 
  • Driven personality

Package Description

£30,000 to £35,000 plus £5000 car allowance, 15% bonus, 23 days holiday, £1300 flexible benefits fund and 5% pension.
