Housekeeping Manager - Airport Lounges

Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit a Housekeeping Manager to lead the cleaning team at one of our Premium first class lounges at London Heathrow Airport.

Role Responsibility

  • Manage a team of 19 cleaners on days and nights over a 365/7day a week operation to ensure a highest quality cleaning service is delivered to our client’s premium class passengers.
  • Coordinate the cleaning operation across three lounges and the operational offices of the catering and cleaning team
  • Manage and control the cleaning services to the agreed specification and service standard required by the contract as measured by both qualitative and financial targets achieving the highest possible standars at the most competitive cost.
  • Actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in managing and leading a cleaning team or appropriate leadership skills gained from practical experience of managing teams in other businesses
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent Organizational and Leadership skills
  • Methodical and proactive approach
  • IOSH certified and BICS qualification an advantage – but not essential as training will be given
