Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our busy hospitality team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

As a Demi Chef de Partieyou will be responsible for:

 

  • Preparation and cooking of food
  • Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy
  • Maintaining Health & Safety standards
  • Providing customer service to staff and customers

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Previous kitchen experience within hospitality, ideally in a fine dining operation
  • Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications, including Basic Food Hygiene
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively
  • The ability to meet hygiene standards
  • Be self motivated and able to work under your own initiative

Package Description

Chef de Partie required for a Staff restaurant within Saughton House in this role you would be expected to provide a set four cycle menu.

We provide breakfast service, lunch service, hospitality service and also a full costa offer all day.

The hours are monday to friday no weekends.
