Contracts Manager (Pest Control and Window Cleaning)

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to oversee the sub–contractors across the University College London Estate. The sub-contractor activity of focus will be Pest Control and Window Cleaning.

Our sub-contractors are contracted to provide services across a large portfolio of buildings that make up the UCL estate, so in this role you will take ownership for ensuring that adequate controls and monitoring is in place to ensure services are coordinated and delivered efficiently.


 

Role Responsibility

  • Oversee the sub contracts activity across pest control and window cleaning for UCL
  • First point of response in the event that a sub-contractor related issue is reported to Sodexo. 
  • Ensure contract compliance of all sub-contracted services in order to limit and performance failures.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and Company/Client Health & Safety practices and procedures.
  • Liaise with the helpdesk co-ordinators to respond to, identify action required, provide progress update and close down reported tasks.
  • Advising UCL and Sodexo on hygiene and control.
  • Reporting of major recommendations to Sodexo and UCL Estates.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level with pervious management of Pest Control services.
  • Good communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
  • Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Able to implement solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and work for the use of reporting
  • Personally motivated with initiative, flexibility, and innovation to continually develop skills
