Catering Admin Assistant

About the role

At Sodexo we know how important our fantastic family of Administrators are – keeping our site running smoothly, and we have a fantastic opportunity for an Catering Admin Assistant to join our prestigious Worthy Down Barracks.

Being the go-to administrator for our team, you’ll be super organised and assisting with a variety of things from supporting at reception duties to finance, invoices and payments, responding to email/phone calls.

We want you to bring your can-do attitude, flexible approach to working and your great reliability with you when you join us. Don’t forget to bring you excellent attention to detail and good communication skills too!

Being a team player is important, but you’ll also need to be able to work well on your own! Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but if you have great people skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There’ll be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it’s vital that you’ll champion this.

Main responsibilities

  • Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
  • Unloading delivery cages into stores
  • Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
  • Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
  • Updating inventory management systems regularly
  • Picking and delivering goods
  • Working online with stock control systems such as drive, lean path & E-prophIT.
  • Cleaning of general areas of storage
  • Menu planning
  • Running Allergen, calorie and other food reports.
  • Equipment fault reporting & chasing
  • Fridge and Freezer reports ( due diligence paperwork)
  • Use of a wide range of IT systems
  • Control of COSHH – ordering and storing

Package Description

  • 40 hours per week
  • £10.00 per hour
  • Monday - Friday 9:30 - 18:00 occasional evening and weekends to support the business when required
