Administrator – Garrison HQ

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for an Administrator to manage the administration for the Garrison Head Quarters on behalf of the Account Manager. Role Responsibility

As an Administrator for the Head Quarters you will be responsible for:

 

  • Provide an efficient service for all calls (which will be relating to the maintenance/replacement of kitchen equipment)
  • Responsible for the logging of calls on system helpdesk
  • Liaising with STS at Harold Hill
  • Maintaining an accurate filing system
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required
  • Providing secretarial support to the Account Manager
  • Diary Management – Account Manager
  • Dealing with queries
  • Attending & organising meetings
  • Minute taking as and when required

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good use of all Microsoft Office applications
  • IT literate
  • The ability to multi task and meet targets and deadlines

Package Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Garrison Clerk to provide a high standard of clerical support to the Staff Officers of HQ Colchester Garrison. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general clerical support to the Headquarters Staff Officers.
  • All HQ filing and maintenance of the registry filing system.
  • Collation of the Stationery order,demanding and distribution of stationery within the HQ.
  • Compiling and updating HQ Staff Lists, Telephone Directories, Nominal rolls and Branch Functional Lists.
  • Liaising with outside agencies, civilian organisations, military units and formation as directed by the respective Staff Officer.
  • Providing cover for the PA to the Garrison Commander during periods of absence.
  • Adhoc administrative duties specified by the RAO, FSA or respective Staff Officer.
  • Other general Administrative duties.
  • Co-ordination of CNO / CVO Training to include materials, crash bags and mobile phones.
  • Co-ordination of AFPS and Elizabeth memorial presentations.
  • Co-ordination of the Garrison unit health committee to include minute taking.
  • Co-ordination of annual security training.
  • Co-ordination of vetting/security passes for civilian employees and dependants.
  • Maintenance of ID card database and CCTV register.
  • Minutes for the Security Services Working Group for SO2 G2.
