Venue Supervisor – Visitor Attraction

We are now looking to recruit a Venue Supervisor at the Emirates Aviation Experience. This role involves front line supervision of the team on a day to day basis and ensures that excellent customer service is delivered through effective management. Sodexo provide a range of hospitality and catering services on site.

Role Responsibility

  • Direct the work of the team to ensure people are fulfilling their roles and providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure that the client expectations are met and initiatives are implemented
  • Opening and closing of the site, with key holding and cashing up responsibilities.
  • Organisation and management of team members throughout the day, while acting in a front line role
  • Decision making in the absence of the Deputy or Operations manager
  • Minor administrative and HR duties
  • Assist with the implementation of the training programme
  • Direct the work of the exhibition team to ensure that team members are fulfilling their roles and providing excellent customer service
  • Develop team members through training and management of day to day HR issues
  • Assist the Deputy Manager with day to day administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience within a supervisory position within a customer focused, catering or hospitality environment.
  • Experience within a visitor attraction would be preferred.
  • Experience with the provision of food and beverages
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Cash handling experience
  • Flexibility -  as the site is open 7 days a week, so there will be a shift rota in place.
