Job Introduction

Role Responsibility

Diagnose and solve operational problems to maintain the day to day efficient running of plant
Co-ordinate activities and resources and aim to ensure work schedules are completed effectively and on time
Take ownership for improvements to maintenance techniques
Complete planned maintenance activities to the required standards and ensure co-ordination with schedule and operational requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement through identification of best practice, proposing options and implementing solutions
Identify work for specialist contractors and co-ordinate technical operations
Work effectively as a member of the team in order to ensure that effective communication channels and efficient working practices are maintained within the working period/team
Ensure that all scheduled maintenance activities are carried out on time in accordance with an engineering plan
Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner
Be on a call out rota
Support project work – act as works rep
Be flexible toward work requests, supporting the wider FM team , when required

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

Skills knowledge across several of the following (it is understood there may be a bias toward Mech / Elec or Inst)
Ability to use initiative and undertake core tasks independently
IT Literate
Technical expertise in specific area of work

Desirable

Good understanding of engineering principles
Poses a good understanding of GMP regulations.
Ability to work on a SAP CMMS system
