As Healthcare Assistant you will support the provision of a high standard of health care to patients in prison under the guidance of the Senior clinical team and Head of Health Care .
Working as part of the multidisciplinary team participating in procedures and duties in accordance with agreed standards relevant to role
Role Responsibility
- Work to the standards of confidentiality required by the Healthcare Department.
- Provide direct nursing care to prisoners
- Report all risks to the senior nursing staff and prison security staff.
- Ensure that all information is stored accurately, updated when required and made available to those who require it in a timely manner. Compliant with Information Governance requirements..
- Attend staff meetings and attend mandatory training as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge or experience of customer experience service delivery.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to prioritise and manage workload
- Highly motivated and willing to learn - committed to personal development
- Ability to work independently
Desirable
- Experience within a Healthcare environment
- Relevant Healthcare qualifications
- Experience within a Custodial environment
- Competencies relevant to the level of skill required for this post will be tested as part of the recruitment process. Relevant experience is desirable with good educative history, including any relevant healthcare assistant qualifications.
Package Description
£18, 374.04 + London Weighting of £253.17 (reccurring payment) and £85 night allowance (recurring payment), plus benefits including free meals on duty, free onsite parking, season ticket loan, subsidised Gym, discount scheme etc
