Job Introduction

We have a rare opportunity to join the culinary team at Sodexo Sports and Leisure; we are looking to grow the team by recruiting Head Chefs to support the business across the UK & Ireland. These roles will support our fantastic venues and events during staff shortages and peak periods, offering the opportunity for a varied role across managing a kitchen, attending tastings and supporting the development chefs. This would suit a highly mobile, experienced Chef who is looking for a role that offers opportunity and variety.

Role Responsibility

You will be looking after a region of the UK,based in the south however there will be times where travel outside your region is required. Supporting the venue teams, you be drafted in to support the kitchen, managing food preparation and health and safety on site, ensuring high standards are delivered by the teams and driving employee engagement. In addition to leading kitchens in our venues and large events, you will also assist the development chefs and executive chefs with innovation and offer development whilst supporting major venues and events with client tasting and development days. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for a mobile chef who is happy to travel at short notice and work away from home, in addition to being comfortable in a variety of kitchens, quickly establishing relationships and credibility.
