Job Introduction
This is an exceptional opportunity to enhance your catering and hospitality career. We require an experienced General Manager to lead the operation for a prestigious attraction in Central London.
Role Responsibility
- Responsible for the overall operational efficiency of hospitality (functions and events) and ultimate delivery of exceptional food services to client and customer satisfaction
- Management of a team ensuring that we deliver a first class service
- Monitor financial performance on a weekly basis to ensure that margins are achieved. Be fully conversant with actual performance to ensure that any variances can be justified and explained
- To maximise profitability of the contract.
- To ensure business deadlines and targets are hit
- Support and give guidance to Managers on the compilation of menus, preparation and cooking of goods
- Ensure that a Five Star customer service is delivered at all times – in the quality of food and customer service.
- Ensure all foods served in areas of responsibility are of the correct quality and presented to the correct standard
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven background as a senior operator within a prestigious environment, focused on the delivery of a first class food and beverage service
- Excellent retail and conferencing & banqueting experience preferred
- Financially astute and commercially focussed
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for high end food and service
- First class communication skills are essential with ability to liaise with senior figures in the client organisation
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to deliver innovative ideas surrounding food and beverage delivery
