Fine Dining Operations Manager

We are looking to recruit a Fine Dining Operations Manager who can maximise the profitability of the fine dining department.

Role Responsibility

The size of the fine dining areas and restaurants at Ascot vary, depending on the size of the event, from 6 restaurants up to 25 during Royal Ascot. Therefore we are looking for an experienced hospitality professional that will thrive in the scale of the operation. This operational role will manage the set up and break down of all the fine dining areas, whilst looking after the food and beverage operation to ensure a first class service. You will liaise with guest services and the client to ensure a seamless service is delivered to all customers. You will be involved in identifying growth opportunities, monitoring performance to agreed levels and developing a strong team of casual managers and staff. The Ideal Candidate

  • Operational knowledge, skills and experience in hospitality
  • Logistics sense for efficient set up and breakdown of events
  • Management of multiple Profit and Loss Accounts
  • Management of a large and diverse casual team
  • Client liaison
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resilience to manage multiple tasks and prioritise importance
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
