Job Introduction
At Sodexo, we provide services at 2,300 client sites across the UK and Ireland, including offices, hospitals, schools, defence sites, prisons, sporting events and visitor attractions. Whilst our heritage is in catering, today we’re the world leader in quality of daily life solutions. We currently have a role that is responsible for the graphic design of all promotional marketing materials produced through the Offer Support Box (OSB) for Sodexo's restaurant, coffee shop and retail offers.
This includes but is not limited to the creation, production and delivery of large scale graphic design projects for print and electronic media including posters, flyers, coupons, scratch cards, booklets and banners.
Role Responsibility
This creative role involves working within a team, understanding the brief and creating 800 creative boxes every two months that will go out across all the Sodexo sites, promoting our restaurants, coffee shops and retail outlets at our client locations.
You will work to an agreed creative brief, design and develop original/creative concepts and artwork whilst adhering to design guidelines for retail collateral, and Sodexo’s own service offers. In addition the role involves managing the sourcing of photos and images to support creative designs through image libraries, manipulating sourced photography and vectors and reviewing digital proofs.
The Ideal Candidate
- Creative flair with previous graphic design experience of producing artwork for a retail, catering or leisure environments
- Must be proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite
- Must be proficient working on a MAC and Microsoft platforms
- Good project management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines with an attention to detail
- Strong understanding of branding and brand development, with the ability to adapt styles to meet different brand requirements for Sodexo Service Offers and/or third party High St brands/products
- Knowledge of print production and technology from file preparation, pre-press and proofing.
- Understand usage of RGB, CMYK, PMS spot colours/finishes and resolution of images for print.
- Image manipulation, image processing and illustration skills
