Job Introduction

We are recruiting for an experienced and innovative Account Director to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity and one which will allow you to give full strategic direction to the delivery of exceptional facilities services and build long term client relationships. We are looking for a strategic thinker who has the ability to identify organic growth opportunities, up selling to existing clients and identify potential new client opportunities.

This role requires frequent travel across the country.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Fostering long term profitable relationships with the client and negotiating client contracts to increase new business opportunities where possible
  • Develop business strategy in line with current and emerging client needs.
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Motivate and lead a high performing team to achieve their objectives and the Sodexo strategy
  • Become a recognised leader within the business and respected specialist in specific market sectors and by specific clients
  • Own, define, maintain and manage Sector and Account Development Plans as well as leading the Change Management Process and associated Service Levels Agreements (SLA’s) ensuring risks are mitigated.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems and processes.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Ability to think strategically about where future opportunities may be created with the ability to develop relationships
  • Ability to implement strategy through a change programme
  • Grasp of the external market and able to identify  new client relationships in conjunction with the Business Development team including extensions of current contracts and services
  • Driver and initiator of change, delivery strategic initiatives into the business area
  • Able to see opportunities and ensure that things are working optimally , able to understand the clients business as well as Sodexo's
  • Strong P&L performance management
  • Develop, negotiate and implement SLA’s / KPI’s within commercial setting.
