Join Sodexo as a Mobile Catering Assistant and become part of a supportive team delivering excellent school catering services across the West Midlands. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and working in different environments while making a positive impact on pupils every day.
As a Mobile Catering Assistant, you won't be based at just one school. Instead, you'll travel to support different school catering teams across Stourbridge, Halesowen, Worcester, and Solihull. You could be supporting a site for a single day, a week, or even a month, depending on business needs. This variety makes the role ideal for someone adaptable, proactive, and keen to broaden their experience across multiple sites.
Even better, you'll enjoy a fantastic work-life balance with no evening work, weekends off, public holidays off, and school holidays included.
Supporting school kitchens across multiple locations as required.
Preparing nutritious and delicious meals for pupils and staff.
Assisting with food preparation, service, and presentation.
Keeping kitchen and serving areas clean, safe, and fully stocked.
Supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries.
Following food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
Representing Sodexo professionally at every site you support.
Working collaboratively with different teams and quickly adapting to new environments.
A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude.
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and supporting others.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks.
