Wedding & Event Manager

Job Introduction

We have an exceptional opportunity for someone to join the team at Hamilton Park Racecourse, as the Weddings and Events Manager. This role will oversee the planning of all wedding parties, throughout the whole booking process form booking to running the event. This is a fantastic role for someone who is customer focussed, professional and highly organised.

Role Responsibility

Looking after the bridal party, you will be the main point of contact and liaise across internal departments to ensure the whole events runs smoothly, driving customer satisfaction you make sure the experience lives up to expectations.

The role will involve:-

  • Attending conference and events weekly meetings, to understand event / guest needs and requirements, and ensure all events run as per the event planners
  • To conduct Wedding showrounds for enquiries, and to have a conversion rate for wedding sales in line with the sales team and company targets
  • To attend any wedding meetings to finalise details with customers, and ensure they are confident us running their wedding day to the best of our abilities
  • Assisting the daily management of the casual team
  • Ensuring good, productive long-term client relationships are developed with Clients and Agents and our onsite client, to generate ‘win-win’ situations. 

 

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Resilience to manage multiple tasks and prioritise importance in terms of operations and planning
  • Management experience of a large events
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Application of an eye for details to all areas of C&E details
  • Willing to work with flexible working hours
  • Excellent customer service and front facing skills
