About the role

At Sodexo, our operators are vital to ensuring that all the site standards are maintained to an excellent level. we place our clients at the heart of everything we do as we believe it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

We currently have a vacancy for Waste Operative to join our busy and friendly team at MARS, Slough! You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of all waste on site.

You’ll ensure effective cleaning of allocated areas and collect all types of waste and process in accordance with local and national legislation. You’ll also ensure to identify and act correctly to potential safety hazards.

A few things about you 

We want you to bring your problem solving skills, flexible approach to working and your great reliability with you when you join us. Don’t forget to bring you excellent attention to detail and good communication skills too!

Being a team player is really important, but you’ll also need to be able to work well on your own! Holding Forklift Truck license would be an advantage. But if you’re able to manoeuvre industrial tractors, we’d love to hear from you!

  • 40-42 hours per week
  • £12 per hour
  • Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
