Venue Sales Marketing Manager

Sodexo Live! have an exceptional opportunity for a for a talented Venue Sales Marketing Manager, who is passionate about driving success to manage the events marketing for our prestigious Scottish venues. These spectacular venues include the Signet Library, The Mansfield Traquair, the National Museum of Scotland, the Assembly Rooms and the National Galleries of Scotland.
As part of the team, you will work with our Senior Marketing Manager to deliver and coordinate communication calendars to support our marketing campaigns and promotional activity. You will also be responsible for creating and updating Scotland venue-specific marketing assets and be a key player in the delivery of key marketing objectives for all venues and events.
Your role will also involve working closely with the digital marketing and sales teams on campaigns to support lead generation, social media, content, and website optimization. You will deliver data-driven analysis on venue sales and produce venue-specific reporting and be able to write and design copy for various marketing initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with many different stakeholders across our portfolio of venues and events.
You will work remotely but will have the opportunity to visit one of our venues at least one day a week, so you must live within travelling distance of the Edinburgh area.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be required to work with the C&E sales teams in our Scotland venues to drive PV&E centrally and to the market
- You will need to be able to work across multiple projects simultaneously adhering to deadlines
- You will need to work with external agencies to deliver effective marketing campaigns and actions to drive sales leads
- You will support the Senior Marketing Manager to deliver all Conference and Events marketing activities for Scotland
- Drive localized digital strategy in Scotland and ensure any digital campaigns cost effectively drive sales leads and venue sales
- Auditing and managing content on all relevant websites
- Ensure that all social media feeds are effective, report on each campaign regularly and manage the calendar of activity
- Working with venue site managers and Head of sales to deliver successful marketing execution to deliver against venue objectives
- Experienced on Salesforce for the purposes of customer segmentation and pulling data for campaigns
- Have an expert knowledge on GDPR to ensure compliance with data management
- Copy writing for a range of marketing activity purposes understand the local market to effectively target
- Close interface with the sales team to support venue sales across C&E with effective collateral & through the correct marketing channels
- Work with venue clients on their marketing channels to drive venue sales
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will have extensive experience preferably within the hospitality industry and a proven track record of delivering effective campaigns, with a focus on increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a self-starter, with excellent communication and time management skills, who is able to take on new challenges and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
You will also have:
- B2B/ B2C marketing experience
- Strong digital/social media knowledge
- Strong analytical and data-driven thinking
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, measurement, data management and the C&E and hospitality market
- Expert knowledge on GDPR to ensure compliance with data management
- Brand offer development experience
- Wide sector/segment knowledge
- Skilled in ecommerce development
- The ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience of channel marketing
- Proven project management skills with ability to multi-skill
