Job Introduction

About the role

At Sodexo, we are passionate about food and we place our customers at the heart of everything we do. To provide this great service, we create enticing dishes, made with the finest and freshest ingredients.

We have a dedicated Catering Team behind us, and we are looking for a Catering Supervisor to join us!

You will supervise a team to ensure that we deliver service excellence across the catering operation, always ensuring that Health and Safety regulations (such as Food Safety and COSHH regulations) are followed.

You will be responsible for managing your workload and that of your team, always ensuring that the preparation and service of meals runs smoothly. With a focus on hygiene, you will always ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean, tidy and glistening!

Sodexo reserves the right to close this advert early if we are in receipt of a high number of applications.

A few things about you

It’s important to have a positive, approachable attitude as this is a customer facing role with supervisory responsibility. You will need to have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate great teamwork. There isn’t an ‘I’ in ‘Team’!

You must have experience working in a similar industry (i.e., catering or food production) and have previous experience supervising a team.

Basic food hygiene and Health and Safety certificates would be great, but don’t worry if you do not hold either as we would still love to hear from you.

As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures to follow such as the Health & Safety, so it is vital that you have good knowledge and experience of this.

  • Monday - Friday
  • Full protective uniform supplied
  • Full training provided
  • Frequent transport links within a short walk
