Staffing Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our team based at our Heritage Portfolio site in Edinburgh. As the staffing coordinator, you will support the Staffing & Training Manager in the delivery of the recruitment and staffing requirements of Heritage Portfolio across multiple sites and venues. You will ensure when recruiting staff company recruitment policies are adhered to and promote Heritage Portfolio as the preferred employer both internally and externally by adhering to company recruitment policies.

The role is part time but we are flexible on when you work those hours and there is the possibility for overtime during peak periods. You will also be required to support with major event days, these can sometimes be in the evening or at weekends.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the staffing operation for fixed and ad hoc events, ensuring all aspects of staffing recruitment, induction, training, customer service, staff check-in, welfare of staff are met
  • Ensure recruitment of new casual employees, adheres to company policy:  E.g. interview, eligibility to work in the UK, reference check and induction
  • Support S&TM in training programs
  • Ensure Heritage Portfolio is seen as an employer of choice for casual workers
  • Ensure all employees complete all required legislative and company (FLOW)  training and are compliant with Heritage Portfolio policy
  • Support the S&TM in building a team of fully trained and engaged employees who are available to work at our sites across Scotland throughout the year
  • Communicate to staff, both full-time and casual, necessary information relating to the event, E.g. start dates and times, accommodation, pay rates, parking.
  • Support Ad Hoc staffing operation to contribute to the local economy through direct recruitment and engaging with the local community.
  • Ensure all general business administration E.g. documentation of new employee’s details and updating of existing personnel records including leavers are secure at all time and is completed in a timely manner.

  • Confident in the use of MS Office
  • A flexible approach to working hours

Up to £24,000 pro rata + benefits
