Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept glistening along with your flair for fine cuisine will keep things ticking along.

You'll be championing food hygiene and safety whilst helping us create special moments and magical experience for customers!

The following qualifications and skills are must have:

  • Basic Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates
  • NVQ Level 3 Professional Chef Diploma (ore equivalent)

        

Role Responsibility

  • Support the Head Chef to deliver the culinary and food safety elements, service briefings, food safety compliance and operational standards and event delivery
  • To be highly organised in kitchen management on a day-to-day basis. The role is mainly kitchen based but may require a small amount of office-based work
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of current food trends and have the ability to bring innovation into the food offers in the event business.
  • To work with the Head Chef to manage the Kitchen Operation, including weekly stock taking and compliance.

  • Demonstrable experience in a high-volume environment –
  • A passionate interest in the catering industry – knowledge of current trends
  • A competent communicator and ability to present to colleagues, peers and clients
  • Evidence of being organised and possess excellent planning skills
  • An intermediate level Food Hygiene qualification

Sodexo are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to work at the prestigious offices of the DVLA, Swansea.

This position will suit an experienced Sous Chef with a passion for food, who is skilled in food delivery and customer experience, is good at situational decision making and has a good eye for detail. You will thrive on a challenge and have strong interest in really making a difference. This is a Monday to Friday role working straight shifts.
