Service Desk Administrator

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Desk Administrator to join us in a schools PFI contract in Exeter.

In this role, you’ll be the first line of support for our client by providing a friendly and proactive service to customers, ensuring that maintenance issues are logged and resolved in line with SLAs, as well as coordinating contractors and working closely with school caretakers to ensure issues are handled in a cost-effective and prompt way.

Role Responsibility

  • Receiving and logging maintenance requests
  • Completing administration tasks relating to service requests
  • Analysing and interpreting data to prevent any service failures
  • Working closely with Contract/Facilities Managers to develop and enhance the quality of service and reporting processes
  • Ensuring that any daily, weekly and monthly audits are completed
  • Maintaining key contractual documentation and records as required

  • Commercial awareness
  • The proven ability to work under pressure and deal with challenging situations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to communicate technical issues at all levels, including to a non-technical audience
  • The ability to make decisions, take ownership and use your own initiative to resolve problems
  • Undertake and support small projects
  • Provide helpdesk and other office support

Desirable

  • An understanding of FM contracts (ideally within a PFI context), key performance indicators and deliverables

Package Description

£18,000 - £20,000 per annum
