Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Ideally currently studying BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management (3rd-year student).

This opportunity is ideal for a 3rd-year BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management student who wants to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on real projects within the Hard Services and Facilities Management sectors.

You’ll support our Senior Quantity Surveyors in delivering commercial excellence, ensuring value for money, and maintaining compliance across a wide range of projects.

What You’ll Do

• Assist Senior Quantity Surveyors in delivering Hard Services, Facilities Management, and construction projects.
• Support end-to-end cost management, including feasibility estimates, value engineering, and cost control.
• Assist with contract administration, including interim valuations, change control, final account preparation, and issuing contract documentation.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and take-offs from drawings.
• Contribute to commercial negotiations with contractors and clients.
• Liaise with clients, operations teams, and project stakeholders to support effective project delivery.
• Help identify and manage commercial and compliance risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure strict adherence to governance and process standards.
• What You Bring
• Currently studying BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management (3rd-year student).
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Knowledge of measuring and estimating software (desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
• Full UK driving licence (advantageous).
