Projects Co-ordinator (Healthcare)

Here at Sodexo Healthcare we currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Projects Co-ordinator to join our Projects team; this is a diverse and dynamic highly supportive team based  at The County Hospital, Hereford and you will provide full administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and the Projects team. Role Responsibility

  • Provision of administrative support to the Senior Project Manager, and to the Projects team.
  • Update of project documentation and records.
  • Maintenance and update of schedules relating to the delivery of the Projects.
  • Manage and deliver the minor works projects and process.
  • Assist in Development and maintenance of the Technical Library inventory.
  • Use of management systems for the recording and retention of documents and records.
  • Provision of management information and performance reports as required.
  • Establishment and maintenance of effective communications and working relationships.
  • Attendance and minuting of meetings as required.
  • Participation in and contribution to Sodexo forums, initiatives and training.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

 

  • Assist with client liaison to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Help prepare budgets
  • Analyse risks and opportunities
  • Oversee project procurement management systems
  • Monitor project progress and communicate any issues that arise
  • Act as a point of contact for the projects team and be able to communicate project status
  • Work with the Project Managers to help eliminate blockers in processes and reporting
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Articulate and confident communicator (both verbal and written), with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proactive and pragmatic approach to issue resolution.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working within the changing needs of the business.
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • An ability to prepare and interpret process flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.

 

Package Description

£22,000pa - £25,000pa & great benefits 

Location: Hereford County Hospital, Hereford HR1  

Permanent  

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw 08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Friday
