Catering & Soft Services Pricing Analyst

Job Introduction

Are you of Facilities Management background? Do you have a good understanding of catering and soft services? Do you have operational experience as well as experience in pricing? We want to hear from you!

You would be predominantly looking after pricing for bids in food, catering and soft services for the Republic of Ireland part of our business (please expect frequent business travel to ROI). You would need to have a sound operational understanding of catering and soft services, be "good with numbers" and financially astute to be able to maximise our business opportunities. This is a brand-new role that offers every opportunity to make your mark.

Role Responsibility

  • The need to co-ordinate to meet client timelines with pragmatic and cost-effective solutions.
  • Understand client requirements and develop competitive technical and commercial solutions.
  • Ensure regular competitive review of core pricing data, including: hourly rates, productivity and maintenance specifications.
  • Develop commercial assumptions throughout the sales process

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to communicate mid complexity bids and concepts verbally, in writing and using visual presentations
  • Ability to work flexibly (travel and extra hours) asper business requirement Demonstrates an ability to produce the required output, on time and to the appropriate accuracy and clarity
  • Comfortable with change and makes proposals for change on the basis of experience
  • Understands customer requirements - bid specific and what's typical for different client sectors
