Planning Support Manager - BIGS

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Improvement and Growth Support team (BIGS) as a Planning Support Manager. As the Planning Support Manager you will be pivotal in informing our current and future resourcing requirements and aligning these to our segments demand.  You will co-ordinate the planning and allocation of our resources to support our segment bid and mobilisation requirements through engagement of key stakeholders together with excellent organisation and reporting skills. Role Responsibility

• Manage internal networks across BIGS regionally to help build and reinforce relationships.
• Manage and maintain strong effective governance and reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure that any issues or risks are highlighted which may impact the successful delivery of programmes of work.
• Support the BIGS platform to achieve its business objectives and strategic goals by ensuring efficient management of programme delivery that supports these objectives.
• Actively communicate and engage with all process stakeholders to support transformation and deployment activity.
• Build on the effective branding of BIGS by managing the liaison between BIGS resources and other Service Operations teams to ensure the right and appropriate platform allocation of resources.
• Assessment and management of BIGS demand requests, allocating the appropriate resource and maintaining the overall resource plan for the team.
• Escalating any Supply & Demand issues to the Demand & Supply Sub Group and programme board when a resolution cannot be provided within the BIGS function.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

• Excellent organisation and coordination skills
• Highly organised and responsive, with ability to deliver under pressure
• High levels of computer literacy –  O365 SharePoint, Project management package, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent communications skills

Desirable

• Good knowledge of project planning and coordination including use of planning tools
• Experience of SAP and MS Visio
