Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

This role will be primarily cover cleaning and waste with an element of reception and barista cover required for Holiday and Sickness Cover.

Role Responsibility

  • To provide assistance to visitors and contractors ensuring all site procedures and policies are adhered to
  • To develop an excellent working relationship with all colleagues
  • To be flexible and cover multiple facilities services such as General Cleaning, Waste, Reception and Coffee Barista.
  • Provide the highest level of housekeeping service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients specifications
  • Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
  • Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
  • To provide onsite waste management including the collection, sorting, segregating and preparing of non-hazardous and hazardous waste streams for collection by their nominated waste contractor.
  • To have excellent record keeping skills, through understanding of responsibilities, legal obligations, waste stream segregation requirements and the definition of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • To produce & serve all costa coffee drinks to brand standards & recipes
  • To produce & present all food to Sodexo brand standards
  • To operate the Epos Till and take payments from customers
  • To meet and greet stakeholders and coordinate their requirements
  • To provide a professional front of house service, using the switchboard and Tannoy you will be playing an instrumental role in delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Checking meeting rooms and calendars update and amend systems as necessary.
  • Able to work unsupervised and take responsibility in dealing with all customer enquiries
  • To Support the workplace and take ownership for the building in which they are working, ensuring that the FM Standards are delivered at a consistent level of service.
  • To be the key interface with the customer and fully conversant with all the day to day activities within their designated areas.
  • Sodexo are to ensure the integrity of the waste chain from the point of collection to final disposal or treatment through the nominated waste contractor.
  • Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Coordinator/Line Manager

Essential

Desirable

  • Reception Experience
  • Barista Experience
  • Experience in the Catering Industry, with basic knowledge of Food Hygiene & Health & Safety
  • SIA License
  • IOSH Qualification
  • Knowledge of Waste Regulations for England and Wales

Package Description

37.5 Hours a Week, 7.5 Hours Per Day, Monday to Friday - With Varied Hours between 7am and 7pm
