Mechanical Technician

About the role

Are you the go-to person...the one who answers the questions, with the know of how to keep the facilities running like clockwork?

We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician in our Dublin site to oversee and coordinate, maintain/repair plumbing and HVAC systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking to grow their career in facilities engineering, as well gaining experience in a fast-paced site. You'll be working closely to our Global Hub team to ensure works are being arranged through closure.

A few things about you 

We want you to bring your great communication skills, fantastic team spirit and your can- do attitude with you when you join us. Being be able to work unsupervised and be able to prioritise work tasks whilst remaining calm under pressure is also a must.

You'll be required to have the below qualifications and experience

  • A 3rd level qualification in Mechanical/plumbing/Building Services Engineering.
  • A good working knowledge of domestic/industrial plumbing and HVAC
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skills

As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there’ll be procedures, site specific guidelines / requirements and regulations to follow such so it is vital that you have a good understand of Health and Safety at Work regulations and previous experience adhering to set engineering standards.
