Job Introduction
HMP & YOI Bronzefield is the largest women’s prison in Europe which accommodates a diverse and complex population of women from restricted Status women who require the highest levels of security, women on remand (Who are often experiencing custody for the first time), as well as supporting women with chronic mental health conditions.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our established team at HMP Bronzefield as a Logistics Support. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the stores and shop, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage daily ordering and stock picking for internal departments and residents.
- Carry out weekly canteen picking.
- Provide efficient counter service to staff and internal stakeholders.
- Handle daily stock management and deliveries in the logistics department.
- Maintain accurate records, both manually and through IT systems.
- Work within strict time deadlines.
- Ensure strong attention to detail.
- Comply with standard regulations and statutory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Package Description
Salary £26,692.87 per annum.
Base Salary £22,963.63 per annum (rising to £24,141.57 after 1 year) plus London Weighting £3,729.24 annually.
Working Hours
40.00 hours (Regular Monday – Friday pattern)
