Job Introduction

Sodexo Live! have a fantastic brand-new exciting opportunity for a Stores/Logistics Supervisor to join our Heritage Portfolio Team, who are part of the Sodexo Family, based at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh.

Reporting into the General Manager, you will ensure the successfully delivery and movement of all supplies/equipment/customer owned items around the site and in line with each specific event request. You will monitor and maintain consistently high levels of service standards and quality across all areas including the maintenance and organisation of all site stores.

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is one of the world's leading botanic gardens which cover approx 70 acres of beautiful landscape. You will therefore be constantly on the go and active with lots of moving and lifting as you assist the Operational Team in the execution of all event logistics.

Role Responsibility

  • Support in the coordinating the movement of equipment i.e., furniture and china to areas
  • Keeping the site tidy and presentable and safe
  • Stock taking equipment for end of year and replacement needs 
  • Manage and ensure that casual BOH staff (on event days) are adhering to our standards, administer training where required.
  • Receive deliveries to site
  • Support the planning and organisation of the BOH services, including the preparation of all areas for all events and retail
  • Ensure end of day reports and morning checklists are completed daily

Package Description

to £22,000pa + great benefits

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw 5/7 with flexibility
