Industrial Cleaner

Job Introduction

We are looking for an experienced cleaner from industrial/manufacturing environment to join our team at a coffee manufacturing warehouse.

Various sfift patterns on offer:

Monday - Friday 7.00 - 16.00
Monday - Friday 18.00 - 22.00
Saturday & Sunday 8.00 - 17.00
Rate of pay £9.50/h

 

Role Responsibility

  • To Carry out all cleaning tasks as detailed by the Cleaning Task Cards/Work Schedules to agreed standard, as directed by the site Hygiene Manager/Site supervisor/Team Leader.
  • To Carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health & Safety and Personal Hygiene.
  • To ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.  Report and faulty machinery/equipment immediately using correct reporting procedure.
  • To ensure Company provided uniform is kept clean and tidy and is worn at all times whilst at work.
  • To use every effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with our customer and Sodexo colleagues.
  • Isolation/lock off dangerous machinery prior to cleaning as trained.
  • Cleaning plant/machinery within a food manufacturing plant using various cleaning applications as trained.
  • Correct use “as trained” of hazardous chemicals – acids/alkalis/irritants.
  • To attend training as required by your Line Manager.
  • Report all accidents and “near misses” to your Line Manager.
