ICT Support Officer - Advertised on behalf of BeNCH CRC

Job Introduction

BeNCH CRC are currently recruiting for a ICT Support Officer on a fixed term contract to provide a high level of support to local CRC ICT Technicians as required. Including support for all IS&T hardware and software, systems administration and technical processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain knowledge and experiences working for a large organisation in a fast based IT environment. Role Responsibility

• Support Systems Administration around starters, leavers and movers.
• Perform basic administration tasks on all systems.
• Provide both hardware and software support to local users.
• Contribute to the preparation of process documentation.
• Perform hardware installations as required.
• Contribute to the improvement of service delivery
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance effective working relationships, with colleagues, managers and other agencies.
  • Share responsibility with the employer for personal professional development.
  • Promote diversity and equality for staff, offenders and members of the public
  • Model the Values and Behaviours of the CRC
• Asset Management within the CRC.

The Ideal Candidate

• Knowledge/familiarity with MS Office (2013, 2016 and office 365) and Windows 7 & Windows 10
• Ability to work individually or as part of a pro-active team.
• Understanding of ITIL Framework
• Previous experience in a First Line Systems support or similar IT role would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Customer focused
• Excellent decision making skills
• Organised

Package Description

Band 2 salary of £18,934 pro-rata

37 hours per week, 27 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (pro-rata), defined contribution pension scheme, company sick pay, group discount scheme

Fixed term contract until June 2021

There will be elements of remote working and also being based in the Huntingdon hub.
