Head of Estates Strategy

Job Introduction

Sodexo's Government and Agencies Segment have a requirement for a Head of Estates to join us and develop and maintain a property estates strategy for a public services client in Northern Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody with experience of property/estates management at a strategic level to build on the vision of our client along with the areas of asset Conditionality, Compliance, Maintenance and Projects.

 

Role Responsibility

  • On an ongoing basis act as a main conduit between the various teams to ensure the Estates strategy is kept up to date and reflective of the customer’s needs.
  • Recruit Manage and Develop the Asset management, Compliance and Energy/Environmental teams in support of the estate strategy.
  • To lead the Estates Team to ensure that a robust Property Strategy is developed  and managed for the client
  • To lead on implementation of the Asset based approach inside the Sodexo team across Maintenance, procurement and Project work streams.
  • To ensure implementation of all contract obligations for Assets, Standards, Fire, Utilities and waste.
  • To design and implement internal (Sodexo) and client financial reporting processes/products
  • To act as an ambassador of the Estates  team and lead on engagement with the client’s estates team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Demonstratable experience in a similar role
  • Highly numerate with financial skills, adept at complex financial modelling
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record delivering complex commercial negotiations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all levels
  • Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and externally

Package Description

Salary is circa £60,000 depending on experience plus company bonus, car allowance and other excellent benefits.
