HR Systems Analyst

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a 9 month fixed term HR Systems Analyst to join our team based at our shared service centre in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity to join a central HR Systems Team during a time of the introduction of new systems and tools where you will support the maintenance of our organisational structure within SAP HCM, review and develop the existing and new HR system infrastructure, and monitor and manage system issues and development through to production.

This opportunity includes access to technology such as SAP HCM, UDC Payroll, EpiUse Query Manager and Document Builder, Winshuttle, and Ivanti CRM.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Maintain HR records including organization units, positions and job changes in line with audit requirements, ensuring both manual and electronic employees’ records are up to date and within agreed shared service timelines
  • Contribute to data maintenance and analysis ensuring the update of HR Systems including SAP HCM and associated systems
  • Running scheduled systems regression testing and ad-hoc testing in line with systems developments.
  • Accurately and efficiently manage change requests in relation to SAP HCM, UDC Payroll and other HR Systems which are supported by the HR Systems team
  • Ensure organisation charts are accurately maintained
  • Investigate queries and issues raised in relation to our HR Systems which are supported by the HR Systems team,  and manage in a timely manner  with IS&T and 3rd parties  until resolution
  • Identify and mitigate risks to HR data accuracy, always seeking to recommend interventions and improvements
  • Liaise with the Business Systems Training team and other key stakeholders to provide updates and advise in relation to UDC Payroll training.
  • Delivering HR Systems Training to our shared service model across the various systems we use and ensuring the users are up to date with developments and changes.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for SAP HCM, UDC Payroll  and other HR Systems which are supported by the HR Systems team  and provide advice to HR colleagues and business managers within agreed timescales
  • Support the HR Systems Manager in the design and delivery of ad-hoc projects including supporting the delivery of HR calendar events and provide support to other HR Service Centre Teams when required eg: at peak times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of payroll systems, organisation management, and other related systems
  • Experience of test design and scope, and working within a testing framework
  • Highly organised and responsive, with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines
  • Numerate and a lateral thinker with a strong attention to detail and the upkeep of documentation
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programmes, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Team player
  • Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Up to £30,000 + bonus
