Graduate Asset and Costing Manager

Job Introduction

Are you a recent Engineering/Quantity Surveyor graduate looking for your first opportunity to grow and develop within a thriving and supportive healthcare Hard FM environment? This is a great opportunity as our strategy can be shaped around you! Sodexo Healthcare are currently looking to recruit an Asset and Costing Manager. This is a graduate role ideally suited to an ambitious candidate wanting to develop as an Asset Manager within our Healthcare Hard FM segment and to also develop experience of supporting business development for our technical delivery. The role will be home base with travel to sites. The Asset and Costing manager will be responsible for supporting the delivery of asset management within the healthcare segment across existing sites and potential new business.  You will be focused on asset and costing activity with supplementary duties as the workload permits.

Role Responsibility

  • Delivery of a strategic asset management plan for Healthcare segment (existing sites) 
  • Provide data analysis of existing asset data to enable operational improvements
  • Gain an understanding of costing and surveying process for technical facilities management 
  • Deliver digital solutions for management of building information data (e.g. schematics, drawings)
  • Support business development opportunities by completing site surveying, data analysis and generating solutions for engineering maintenance delivery
  • Be a visible and approachable advisor to the operational Hard FM healthcare business.
  • Support delivery of the asset management plan via a programme of site asset surveying and verification activities and due diligence activity for business development opportunities
  • Ensure an effective costing model is in place, and in use, for business development opportunities 
  • Implement digital solutions to support effective management of building information data
  • Support the Healthcare Compliance and Improvement team with monitoring compliance of asset management against contractual obligations. 

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • This is a development role for an ambitious engineer/ quantity surveyor (QS) graduate to gain experience within complex Healthcare facilities management environments
  • Preferably a Quantity Surveying degree or an Engineering degree
  • Preferably practical understanding of engineering in a healthcare environment 
  • Understanding of digital building management tools, e.g. AutoCAD
  • Exceptional eye for detail and ability to analyse complex building information data
  • Ability to organise workloads and to prioritise effectively 
  • Full UK driving licence
  • IT Skills – Good working knowledge of MS Office, including:

Word – create and edit documents and reports

Excel – able to use data analysis tools

CAD – desirable 

Package Description

To £22,000 + great benefits

Remote - North West England ideal or London; you must be prepared to travel and conduct visits for Sodexo Healthcare sites in the UK

Permanent

Work Pattern - 40hrs pw
