Food service Assistant

Job Introduction

Are you an experienced Catering professional or are you looking to get into the Catering industry? 

A great opportunity to join the hospitality and catering team at Merville Barracks where you can contribute to providing our service personnel with the high quality facilities and services they deserve.

We have been working with the Ministry of Defence since 1986 and provide a wide range of services to support British servicemen and women serving in the United Kingdom and overseas

Our catering, retail and leisure facilities have been developed to combine high street style restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and leisure services

Role Responsibility

Main responsibilities include:

  • minor food preparation
  • serving on the till
  • general cleaning duties
  • serving on the hot plates
  • compliant with all company procedures

 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

  • customer service focused and experienced
  • cash handling experience
  • food preparation experience
  • cleaning experience but not required
