Job Introduction

 

 

 

Role Responsibility

Main Duties:

1. Fitness Activities

To comply with Health & Safety legislation, policies and procedures.

To be responsible within the gym area, to make sure that all members are correctly screened and inducted and that suitable fitness programmes are issued, regularly reviewed and updated.

 

To carry out all duties effectively, ensuring a continuous high level of service.

 

Teach a variety of classes and to assist with the class schedule, making sure that classes meet with customer requirements.

2. Customer Importance

Seek to ensure all members enjoy their visit.

Any customer queries or comments are resolved, with the help of the Fitness Manager, in a positive manner.

Promote all activities. 

3. Health and Safety

Ensure the Health safety and welfare of all people on site at all times

4. Other Responsibilities

Assist with the development of the aims of the client.

Undertake any other duties that can be accommodated within the position held.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an enthusiastic highly motivated fitness professional to work within our Corporate Gym in Galway. The successful candidate must have an ability to work on his or her own initiative and have excellent communication and customer service skills.

He or She must hold a national Gym Qualification, be REPS Registered and have experience in teaching a variety of classes, with at least 1year experience working in a gym.
